Hot Date Night gives you a place to start when you want to switch things up but aren’t sure what to say or suggest. Bring it out after dinner, pack it for a weekend together, or pull a card when another night of watching TV could use a better ending. A question or suggestion can help you bring it into the conversation without having to come up with the opening on your own.

What comes with the game?

You get four decks with 100 cards: 25 Hot Talk cards and 75 action cards, plus six pass cards.

• Hot Talk: Flirty questions and conversation starters that help you talk about turn-ons, preferences, and things you’re curious about. Take your time with the answers. You might learn something even if you’ve been together for years.
• Hot Action: Flirty activities to get things started and add a little physical play.
• Hotter Action: More adventurous suggestions when you’re both ready to turn things up.
• Hottest Action: The boldest action prompts in the game. Read them together and decide what interests you both.
• Pass cards: Skip a question or suggestion you aren’t interested in. Hand these out before playing so they’re within reach. You can also pass at any time without a card—there’s no limit on saying no.

How do you play?

Choose one deck or combine all four. There’s no pressure to reach the hottest level or finish a certain number of cards. Check the included instructions, then choose a way to play that suits your evening.

Talk first. Start with Hot Talk and take turns drawing questions. Ask follow-up questions, laugh together, and talk about what you’d enjoy trying. An answer is a conversation, not a commitment to do it.

Take turns making a move. Shuffle the decks together, draw a card each, and decide together whether to try the suggestion. Keep going for as long as you’re both enjoying yourselves.

Pick four. Each partner chooses one card from every deck. Enjoy the prompts throughout the evening or spread them across a day together. There’s no need to squeeze everything into one sitting.

Save a surprise for later. Before dinner, each choose an action card and keep it private. When you’re home, reveal your cards and see which ideas you both want to explore.

Keep it conversational with friends. Selected Hot Talk cards can also get an adult friends’ night talking, provided everybody is comfortable with intimate subjects. Agree on what’s off-limits and keep personal answers private. The action decks are best saved for consenting partners.

Why add it to your night?

It’s easy to assume you already know everything your partner likes, especially when you’ve settled into a routine. These cards give you fresh things to ask and suggestions you might never think to bring up. You get a chance to express yourself, hear each other out, and put a little more play into your time together. And yes, hot talk can be exciting all by itself. Feeling aroused may bring on natural vaginal lubrication, but that response varies. Wetness doesn’t tell you whether someone wants an activity, and needing lubricant doesn’t mean they aren’t turned on. Ask, listen, and keep talking.

Want a few extras to go with it?

Certain cards suggest adding items such as a blindfold, toy, or flavored lubricant. Accessories are sold separately, and you can adapt a suggestion or draw another card if you don’t have them.
